Jessica joined IBLF after obtaining her MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. Prior to pursuing her Master’s degree, she worked for several years in both international and domestic (US) non-profit organisations in Argentina, Colorado and New York, which involved considerable travel throughout the US, Europe, Latin America and Australia. She has interned with a former US Senator, worked part-time with several small businesses and volunteered with various community organisations.
As a Programme Manager, Jessica engages on a diversity of issues, including the interface between business and the environment, human rights, inclusive business, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Additionally, she contributes to the management of the Secretariat for the UK Network of the UN Global Compact, providing support for UK-based endorsers of the UN’s corporate responsibility framework.
Jessica’s key attributes are: the capacity to thrive in both team and individual work environments, and an ability to recognise multiple perspectives regarding matters of sustainable development.
Jessica enjoys being introduced to new insight and viewpoints and derives satisfaction from researching and identifying areas within issues where consensus can be drawn and nurtured to create platforms for sustainable solutions.
