Thom is a senior-level professional with 25+ years’ significant worldwide experience in setting up, managing and evaluating global programs and multi-stakeholder initiatives with a high degree of strategic and structural complexity.
Thom has gained his expertise through management roles in the Netherlands government, international NGOs, independent partnership entities and an international engineering firm; He is motivated to lead and facilitate ‘Agents of Change’ in their challenging process to contribute more effectively to the Sustainable Development Goals. This has included working with World Vision, supporting them to become ‘Partnering of Choice’.
In different responsibilities, he has been involved in a range of global programme and partnership evaluations commissioned by the Netherlands Government, the European Commission, the Austrian Development Agency, and IFC.
With TPI, Thom has delivered a range of work including supporting the development of a major new partnership between GAIN and Harvest plus, creating results frameworks for a number of global partnerships, as well as delivering the Fit for Partnering approach with Water.org.
