Based in Zambia, Andrew has over 15 years’ experience fostering public private collaboration towards economic and social development. Previously, he has worked as Strategic Partnership Advisor and Provincial Programme Manager with UNDP in South Africa.
Andrew was TPI’s lead in Zambia, working with key stakeholders – government, business, UN, donors and civil society – to develop the Zambia Business in Development Facility, a partnership platform to convene and engage all stakeholders and catalyse collaboration. The process involved carrying out the initial scoping to understand the need and build engagement, through setting up the structure, and building the capacity (through training, and on-the-job coaching) of four partnership brokers / systems leaders to directly catalyse and support multi-stakeholder partnerships.
Andrew also has extensive experience working with the UN system and multiple donors, including as the Zambia lead for the Business Innovation Facility.
