Marc-Olivier Roux, Associate

Based in Southeast Asia, Marc Olivier is a global partnerships, entrepreneurship and innovation advisor engaging international organisations, corporations, start-ups and investors into cross-sectors collaborations to develop innovative solutions that transform social and environmental risks into business opportunities, harness the power of technology and entrepreneurship as a force for good, and create shared value for companies and communities alike.

Marc Olivier worked with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction and non-for-profits to engage local SMEs into disaster preparedness and business continuity planning. He also worked with the USAID Oceans program to engage government, industry and tech providers into the design and implementation of a electronic Catch Documentation and Traceability (eCDT) system across the Southeast Asian seafood supply chain. The program covers Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. Marc Olivier also work as a start-up coach and mentor to support impact driven entrepreneurship (SeedStars, HatchCoLab), and is involved in several innovative impact-driven projects in the Ag and food sector (The pledge on Food waste, FairAgora, Verifk8).

Before embracing the world of CSR & Sustainability, Marc Olivier worked in several communication and marketing related positions in the banking sector and communications agencies in Switzerland, Croatia, Kosovo and Africa.

Marc Olivier’s expertise covers cross-sectors partnering design and relationships management, stakeholders engagement and resource mobilisation, communications and marketing, sustainability and CSR strategies, project management and program implementation.
