TPI is developing two new global Action Research initiatives, which are currently in the design and scoping phase. A number of organisations have already expressed interest in collaborating on these programmes.
Making Business Fit for Partnering for the SDGs
This programme aims to deeply understand the internal and external barriers and challenges companies face when partnering with other societal sectors. The programme will identify approaches companies and others have successfully used to be able to overcome such barriers, and to develop a set of recommendations and guidance for companies and their partners to make partnering easier and deliver greater impact and value to all.
The initiative will be developed and implemented as a working group of interested companies who themselves currently are, or will be, regularly partnering with others.
Maximising Global Partnership impact in-country
This initiative focuses on global single-issue partnerships and looks at how they can most effectively address common governance, management and structural challenges to make their globally-designed structures fit for purpose to deliver the greatest impact at the country level.
This action research programme will work with a group of Global Partnerships to draw out their experiences, undertake on-the-ground action, build understanding of good practice, and develop guidance that will help all of them tackle these challenges.
