Nazneen C. Huq began her career as a curriculum designer and trainer with a Dutch Engineering firm. She has since developed experience in program development, management, human resources development and training and research.
She is trained and experienced in facilitating process oriented workshops using participatory methods. These methods use different tools and techniques to facilitate processes ranging from problem analysis, root cause analysis and strategic planning. Being a facilitator has provided her with an exposure and insight to multiple areas ranging from the readymade garment sector to agriculture to communication and urban planning. Her experience includes working with international agencies and national organisations.
Nazneen is a trained partnership broker and has worked with both companies and NGOs to promote the idea of partnering for sustainable development. She is also skilled in the process of forming public private partnerships and experienced in building partnerships between local level business associations and local government offices. As a partnership builder, she has designed and conducted a series of trainings for the stakeholders of a Asia Foundation project in 14 Upazillas on the process of partnership between Public and Private sector. She is also currently involved in partnerships which create awareness on health issues for women workers in garment factories, and is Executive Director of Change Associates.
