‘Essential Skills for Effective Partnering’ – London, May 2013

IMG_5439-235x176The 3 day training course ‘Essential Skills for Effective Partnering’ will be running  on 7th – 9th May 2013 in London.

This course builds the skills and knowledge needed for effective multi-stakeholder collaboration and is for staff and consultants from all sectors. The course can optionally lead to participants gaining a Certificate in Partnering Practice.

TPI runs a range of training programmes designed to develop skills, understanding and knowledge for effective cross-sector partnering. Courses are based on the findings of over 20 years of experience which has allowed us to systematise the essential processes of partnering and develop practical tools to help all sectors collaborate and implement effective partnerships.

All of our trainings balance robust theory with highly interactive, experiential learning through role play, ‘serious games’ and peer-to-peer exchange.

Recent participants from the course, in London and Washington DC, include UNDP, Johnson and Johnson, Care, Mercy Corps, UNECA and the US Department of State amongst others. One participant said:

‘The training has provided me with a great framework for helping bring partnerships within my organisation to a new level of thoughtfulness and excellence.’

As well as offering open training courses, we also offer tailor made courses to organisations and partnerships. Contact us if you would like to discuss your or your organisation’s professional needs.

    Hi
I am really intrested in attending the Essential Skills for Effective Partnering’ course but I am based in South Africa. It will be too expensive for me. Do you do any e -learning courses or can you make some recommendations in this regard?

    Thank you

    Hi Corne,

Great to hear you are interested in the Essential Skills course. Unfortunately, we do not have any e-learning courses available, however, this is something we are looking to develop in the future.

In the mean time, I will let you know if we plan a training course in South Africa at any point. Also, if you were looking for some particular information, our partnering toolbooks are available to download for free under the ‘resources’ tab

    Many thanks for your enquiry,

    Jessica, Coordinator, TPI

    Hi,
I am interested in participating in your didactic training courses.
I live in Zambia and I feel it will be beyond my earnings to attend the training.
Do you contemplate conducting such courses anywhere in Africa or closer.

    Thank you
