Partnership Portfolio Review

An organisation is likely to have a multitude of partnering / collaborative arrangements with a range of partners. A review across the spectrum of these can help identify the strategic value the partnerships are bringing; which partnerships should be further invested in and which should be closed; and any gaps where new partnerships need to be developed.

Are you working as coherently as you could be? Are you getting the very best out of your partnering activities?

Through interviews and facilitated workshops with your staff and partner organisations, we can help evaluate the collective benefits from your partnerships and make a set of recommendations to help ensure they are adding the most value to your organisation and to find

TPI also works with organisations to help them develop criteria to decide on which new partnerships they should engage with, and which they should not.

Related activities

Vodafone Foundation

TPI worked with the Vodafone Foundation to review its set of relationships with NGOs. The resulting recommendations helped the Foundation to consolidate its relationships as well as finding innovative ways in which its partners could work together, not just bilaterally with the Foundation, resulting in greater value to all.

World Food Programme

TPI has developed a tool for WFP to help them assess potential partnerships. The tool looks at a range of elements including the predicted strategic value the partnership brings to the organisation, the financial and staff costs involved, the implications for the partnership, and the opportunity cost.
