Veronica Scheubel, Associate

Veronica combines her knowledge and experience of cross-sector partnering with her background in change consulting and coaching. Her driver is her passion for supporting people in improving the quality of their collaboration. She has been connected to TPI since 2004 and represents TPI in Germany.

Prior to growing her practice as both a sustainability & change consultant and a partnership broker, Veronica was in a global role as Senior Corporate Responsibility Manager at Nokia. Here, she initiated, facilitated and led cross-sector partnerships in the company’s $20 million ‘Make a Connection’ programme focused on youth education. As a consultant on Corporate Community Involvement, Veronica advised both on E.ONs international €50 million initiative ’Energy for Children’ and on Microsoft’s global ’Skype in the Classroom’ programme for several years.
She has successfully worked with multinational companies like Daimler (on integrity), SAP (on teambuilding) and ThyssenKrupp (on leadership); with international NGOs like e.g. the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition in Geneva (on partnerships) or Plan International (on sustainability); with government institutions and university administrations; and with national associations like the German Association of Cooperative Banks and the Finnish PR Association (all on sustainability).

Veronica has delivered training courses on sustainability for training institutions based in the US, the UK, Germany and the UAE, with participants from all regions around the world. She designed a course ‘Leadership, Change and Social Innovation for Corporate Community Involvement Practitioners’ at Boston College. Twice, she was a juror for the Global Corporate Volunteering Awards of IAVE, the International Association for Volunteer Effort. She is co-author of the book ‘Corporate Community Involvement: The Definitive Guide to Maximizing Your Business’ Societal Engagement’ (Greenleaf/Stanford University Press 2010), featured on Cambridge University’s ‘Top 40 Sustainability Books 2010’ list.
